AV Antispyware is Just Another Rogue

Are you being flooded with pop-up ads attempting to convince you to download AV Antispyware to remove infections on your PC? This is another rogue application that is designed to take your money by giving you misleading information. This fake, like all of the others, cannot detect infections or parasites on your computer, and it certainly cannot remove anything. Don’t fall for the scare tactics, as it is totally useless.

These sites offer free anti-malware downloads, supposedly to protect your PC. What they actually do is place dangerous software on your computer, which must be removed. Many are highly threatening, and pose danger to not only your computer, but your personal information as well.

What happens when this application resides on your computer? You will be bombarded with security alerts stating that your PC is at risk from various infections and viruses. These messages are intended to frighten the user in to downloading the free scan to detect and remove threats. Once scanned, the messages you receive will state that infections are too numerous and severe for complete removal, and that you must purchase the full version of the product to remedy the situation. Since AV Antispyware cannot detect or remove any infections or threats, avoid spending your money.

Some of the symptoms that you have become a victim of these fake programs are the bombardment of pop-up warnings. Often, your computer will become extremely slow, and your browser will redirect to strange websites. You may also notice that you get spam emails that are related to topics you are interested in. This is possible because of the fact that AV Antispyware can track your online activities. It gathers information about your searches and the websites you visit.

Once you are convinced that malicious software resides on your PC, it should be removed immediately. The longer these programs stay on your computer, the more damage they can cause by placing additional malware on your system. In severe cases, your computer may become so damaged that it cannot be repaired. Your personal identity may also be at risk as some of these programs can gain access to passwords and other personal business information.

Manual removal is not recommended unless you are a professional with expertise in this area. You must kill all running processes and delete each file that is related to AV Antispyware, which is difficult because many of these files hide from the user. A reliable antispyware tool is indicated for complete removal.

If you believe malicious software exists on your PC, remove it swiftly to avoid further threats and damage. The use of a reliable antispyware application that guarantees 100% removal of all infections, worms, parasites and other threats is highly recommended.
