Beware of the angantivirus09 Scam

Life is full of expensive investments. One of the most important investments that you could make in life is a computer. One of the most important investments you can make for your computer is in a quality line of defense against malicious software. The problem with finding a security application that you can trust is that there are so many scams out there like angantivirus09.

Like many of the other scams, angantivirus09 is a rogue antivirus program that masquerades about like a legitimate one. It makes many claims that it can help protect your computer, but when it comes down to it, it doesn’t. Instead, it will only do more harm than good. In fact, angantivirus09 doesn’t do any good.

A common means of infection is through a Trojan horse program. The Trojan horse gets loaded onto your computer through a rogue website. Then, later, it downloads angantivirus09 right under your nose and without your permission. Once angantivirus09 has been installed, it starts to generate a bunch of warning messages telling you that you should let it scan your computer.

If allowed to scan your computer, angantivirus09 will put on quite the show. It will produce a realistic looking scan, but it really isn’t doing anything. Once it has finished its make believe scan, a list of imaginary results will be compiled to try to scare you into buying the full version of angantivirus09.

There is another way that angantivirus09 tries to get you to buy its worthless product. There are websites that will hijack your browser and take you to sites where fake online scans are performed. These scans will only take seconds to be performed, yet they will say they have scanned your entire system and found several malicious programs. The site will then urge you to buy the full version of angantivirus09 in order to have them removed.

The full version of angantivirus09 is completely useless and a waste of money. It doesn’t remove any threats whatsoever. Instead, it will slow down your computer and your Internet connection. Angantivirus09 will also change your browser’s settings and generate pop-up ads. Plus, buying it puts your credit card information into the hands of criminals. This is the very thing that you don’t want happening.

If angantivirus09 has infected your computer, then you need to have it removed immediately. You could manually remove it, but this isn’t the desirable method. It takes a long time and it can be difficult to find every trace of angantivirus09 in order to completely remove it.

Instead of manual removal, you should use a legitimate antispyware program. When you are in the market for an antispyware program, be sure to research the company that makes the product. If there isn’t any information on them, then you may be looking at another scam. You should also make sure that the program is guaranteed to remove 100% of spyware. If it doesn’t have that guarantee, then you will only be getting partial protection. Get a genuine antispyware program that offers complete protection. Your computer deserves it.
