Don’t Let Spyware Fighter Take Advantage of You

I doubt that you could deny the importance of your computer in your life. You may use it for work or for school. You may even use it for gaming, recording music, editing movies or pictures, or just for surfing around on the Internet for fun. Your computer is also an expensive machine. It should be cared for and protected properly or rogue programs like Spyware Fighter will invade it and try to take advantage of you. It is a fake antispyware program developed by cyber criminals. These thieves programmed this program to invade your computer, cause damage, and try to steal your money. You work hard for your money, so don’t let this little bugger try to steal it.

Spyware Fighter first invades a computer through a Trojan horse program that has already infected that computer. The Trojan will download it without the user knowing or consenting to it. It will be installed and then the lies will begin. The user will start to receive warning messages about spyware infecting their computer. It won’t be hard to believe because it will cause pop-up ads and change the browser’s homepage.

The user will be urged to let Spyware Fighter scan their computer for spyware. If allowed to do so, a very convincing scan will be initiated. When this scan has been completed, a fraudulent list of infections will be presented to the user. This list will consist of made up names, personal files belonging to the user, and important system files. The user will then be urged to purchase the full version in order to have the “threats” removed.

Many people have fallen for this part of the scam. No one likes to have their computers infected with malicious software. They are more than willing to fork over a little bit of money in order to protect their computers, which is understandable. However, the full version of Spyware Fighter is a completely useless program. It doesn’t do a single thing to remove anything, especially real threats. It also doesn’t protect the computer from any spyware threats that may come along in the future.

Instead of protecting the computer, your computer will slow down, right along with your Internet connection. Because this program is a liar, a thief, and hinders a computer’s performance, it should be removed at the first sign of infection. While it could be removed manually, the infected user should really consider using a legitimate antispyware program. Manual removal can be dangerous and it is highly inefficient.

Since there are many fraudulent programs out there, you should be wary when you are considering buying an antispyware program, do a little research before you pay for a program. Look into the company that makes the software and make sure they are reliable. Also, make sure that the antispyware you are buying is guaranteed to remove 100% of spyware. If it doesn’t have this guarantee then it doesn’t offer complete protection, and you need complete protection.
