Fast Antivirus 2009 – Fast is How You Should Remove It

Fast Antivirus 2009 is a fake antivirus program designed to take your money. It is in itself an infection that should be removed immediately once you realize you have it installed on your PC. It commonly installs itself through the Vundo trojan or other fake software. As an average computer user, you will more than likely not know where it came from or when it infected your system.

When this rogue security program resides on your PC, it will perform a system scan and then display purposely exaggerated and false results to you. These messages will inform you that your computer is infected with all sorts of security threats, and that you should purchase their product in order to remedy these infections. This is a ruse created by hackers for the purpose of taking your money. Fast Antivirus 2009 is not capable of detecting or removing anything.

Will you know if you are infected? There are many symptoms that are nearly impossible to miss. You will receive incessant pop-up messages trying to convince you that your PC is in danger. Usually, no infections actually exist. You will more than likely notice that the performance of your system is not as efficient as it should be. Your computer may be slow or take a long time to start up. Your browser may redirect you to strange websites, or you will notice that your home page has changed. Sometimes, you may even get the blue screen of death.

What do these malicious applications do? Plenty. They can install additional malware on your PC. They will also collect information about your online searching habits, your personal passwords, credit card information and other business data. This is why it is urgent that you remove these fake security programs at once. Don’t attempt to remove it manually unless you are an expert, as further damage to your computer is a possibility.

When you believe that Fast Antivirus 2009 or another similar infection exists on your computer, remove it at once with a legitimate antispyware application. These programs will scan your PC for security threats and infections, and once detected they will be removed.
