Free Adware Removal Tips – What is Adware?

Do you have a slow running computer? Or did your homepage changed suddenly? If you’re experiencing this type of problems, probably you have malicious software such as adware inside your PC.

It’s a software that displays advertising and is capable of installing itself into your system legally. A book with the title Security+2e actually classified spyware and adware into one category. According to the book, both are the same, only the function of each software is different.

However, a book by Tony Bradley actually separates these two into their own categories, but even though the two books classified the two threats differently, both are still dangerous malware software.

According to the book by Tony Bradley, adware is “software that commonly used to generate ads, hence the name”. Now, the question, how to remove it? There are few ways how to do it. Usually, it can be uninstalled from your system but if it cannot, I recommend you to use removal software. There are lots of removal software out there that you can use and some of it are free.

There are two software that I recommend, the first one is Ad-Aware Free. It’s the free version of the Ad-Aware Pro. The other software is Spybot Search and Destroy and both can be downloaded for free.

Did you know actually adware is more ethical than the spyware? It’s because every time it wants to install itself into your computer, you can read about it clearly in the End-User License Agreement (EULA).

Usually, these malicious software often bundled with freeware. Before internet, people have to transfer these malicious software physically. But today, it’s easier for people to transfer them through the internet. Still, people love free software without knowing that some of it contains malicious software and therefore, the infection will spread easily.

Ask anyone with knowledge of computer security, and they will say that the most important thing in protecting your computer is knowledge. So, learn as much as you can.
