If you spend very much time on the Internet, then you should really be careful. You should protect your computer with antispyware software that you can trust or you may get duped by a program like Malwarecatcher2009. If that happens, you may find your computer damaged and your wallet a little lighter.

Malwarecatcher2009 is a rogue security application that has been released in order to scam people out of their hard earned money. While it may look very professional and legitimate, it is just a clone of other rogue security applications. Instead of helping to protect your computer like it promises, it will cause your computer to work at a much slower rate, as well as slow down your Internet connection.

Malware usually uses one of two means of infecting a computer. It may infect your computer through a Trojan horse program that has secretly infected the computer. The Trojan will download the malicious program without your permission or knowledge. But the other method of infection is less sneaky, but just as dubious.

There are malicious websites that pretend to do online scans of your computer, then they claim that your computer is infected with malware. There is no such thing as an online scan, so these sights are utter liars. However, once their fake scans have been completed, they advise to download the full version in order to find all of the malicious software that has infected your computer.

Whether Malwarecatcher2009 has infected your computer secretly or you downloaded it without knowing that it was malicious, it will always end up telling you that you need to pay up. The version that is loaded onto your computer and “scans” it is just a trial version, at least that’s what they call it. Really though, the scan it performs only detects files that it created and it is no better than the full version.

I don’t think it needs to be said, but I’ll say it anyway. The registered version of Malwarecatcher2009 is a total waste of money. It doesn’t do anything to protect your computer or remove any threats that may actually exist on it. Since it is a scam and since it doesn’t protect your computer it should be removed at the first sign of infection.

Removing Malwarecatcher2009 manually may not be as easy as you’d think. In order to remove it manually, you must find all of the files that it created, as well as any folders, and delete them. Finding all of these can be difficult. Plus, if it was installed on your computer through a Trojan horse, then you must delete the Trojan as well or it may simply be reinstalled once you have removed it.

In order to properly be rid of Malwarecatcher2009 forever, you must find a quality antispyware program that you can trust. It should be guaranteed to remove 100% of spyware. If it isn’t, then it won’t properly protect your computer. Complete protection is important because your computer is important. If you get that complete protection before hand, then you won’t have to ever worry about malware.
