Internet Antivirus Pro Must Be Removed and Avoided

Written by OSAblog on Monday, June 29th, 2009

There are many threats that hide throughout the Internet and Internet Antivirus Pro is one of them. People seeking to protect their computers from viruses often fall victim to this deceptive program. Though they think they are finding protection, they only end up with troubles and frustration. This is why everyone must be very careful and should find security applications that they can trust.

Internet Antivirus Pro is a rogue antivirus program that was developed by cyber criminals. They designed it to behave in many ways like a legitimate antivirus application, except that it offers no protection whatsoever. It infects computers through various means including Trojan horse programs, security holes in browsers, and manual download.

Once Internet Antivirus Pro has infected a computer, it generates fake security warnings. These warnings are used to pressure the user into allowing it to scan their computer for threats. The threats that the scan generates are completely fraudulent, however, and they too are used to scare the user deeper into the Internet Antivirus Pro scam.

Once the falsified list of infectious threats has been generated, Internet Antivirus Pro tells the user that they must purchase the full version of the program in order to have the threats removed. However, if the user pays for the full version of this nefarious program, they will be sorely disappointed. Internet Antivirus Pro doesn’t remove any real infections, nor does it offer any protection from any future threats.

Instead of offering a beneficial service, Internet Antivirus Pro will cause the computer it has infected to slow down. Not only will its performance be hindered, but the Internet connection will also suffer a loss of speed. On top of this, the infected computer will be plagued by pop-ups, the browser’s security settings will be lowered, and more malicious software may be downloaded without the user’s knowledge.

If your computer has been infected by Internet Antivirus Pro somehow, you don’t have to put up with its uncouth behavior. You can have it removed with professional help and protect your computer from future scams and malicious infections. This can be accomplished with an antispyware application that you can trust.

If you are looking for a trustworthy antispyware, be sure to look into the company that makes the product. Once you have found a company that makes a legitimate antispyware program, be sure that their antispyware is guaranteed to remove 100% of spyware and malicious threats. If the program you are considering doesn’t live up to these standards, then it isn’t worth buying. Protect your computer. It is a bigger part of your life than you may think.
