It is the responsibility of every computer owner to take care of it and guard its health. There are plenty of security applications out there for the owner to choose from. The problem though is that there are just as many, if not more, fraudulent programs out there like SecureAntivirusPro. Too many people have fallen prey to these digital parasites and unknowingly given their money to cyber criminals.
SecureAntivirusPro is a rogue antivirus application that looks sleek but really it is nothing more than a scam and a burden. Though it makes many promises to clean up a computer, it does nothing of the sort. Instead, it will slow the Internet connection, slow the computer’s performance, lower security settings, and generate pop-ups. This rogue may even download other malware onto the computer it is infecting.
Once it has infected a computer, SecureAntivirusPro will constantly bother the user with security warnings claiming that the system has been infected. Though this is true, the rogue points everywhere else except for at itself when it points to “infections.” It also tries to perform a fraudulent scan of the system so that it can show the user a fake list of results in order to scare them. If the user does in fact get scared, then they will be led to an insecure site where they can hand over their credit card information.
Getting rid of this annoying pest can be easy or it can be difficult. The hard way to remove this malicious program is to do it manually. It is difficult and inefficient because if the Trojan that downloaded it isn’t removed, then it will simply be reinstalled. The fight will continue until every piece of malware has been removed.
That is why using an antispyware program that you can trust is a better option. It will be able to find all of the malware on a computer and remove them all at once. It can do this in a lot less time than any computer whiz could. But how do you find an antispyware application that you can trust when there are so many rogues out there?
First, find an antispyware program that is guaranteed to remove 100% of spyware. Then, make sure that the company that makes the program is legitimate and better yet, a member in good standing with the Better Business Bureau. If the antispyware can live up to these two standards, then your computer will be in good hands.
