Remove Virusremover2009

Written by OSAblog on Saturday, May 23rd, 2009

While the Internet is a fascinating and interesting place, it would be unwise to leave your computer unprotected while surfing. There are rogue websites that will load malicious software onto your computer and there are downloads that are tainted with nefarious products. Virusremover2009 is one of the many kinds of malware that could infect your computer. Don’t put off protecting your computer any longer.

Virusremover2009 is a rogue antivirus program that uses very deceptive methods in order to fool infected users into spending their hard earned money. It will do this by using websites to load Trojan horse programs onto people’s computers through security holes in their web browser. These Trojans are the ones that then download the program secretly and without the user’s consent.

Once it has been installed, the user will be bombarded with warning messages claiming that their system has been compromised by malicious software. It may even generate pop-up ads to help its case. The user will then be told to let Virusremover2009 scan their computer so that the threats can be found and destroyed. There is one step that it fails to mention to the user though.

If this rogue is allowed to perform a scan of the user’s system, it will create a false list of threats to present to the user. This list will be used to pressure the user into purchasing the full version of its program in order to remove the threats, which wasn’t mentioned before the scan was started. However, the full version is completely incapable of removing any threats whatsoever. It will neither detect them nor prevent them from infecting the computer.

Instead of helping a computer, it will only harm it and waste the user’s money. The money will go to criminals and the computer will become slow, right along with the Internet connection. Since it uses nothing but deception and does nothing but harm, it should be removed at the first sign of infection.

Removing Virusremover2009 manually isn’t the easiest task to accomplish. You must hunt down all of the files and folders that belong to it and delete them. Even if you were able to remove it manually, you would still have to deal with the Trojan that originally infected your computer. That is why you should consider using a legitimate antispyware program to remove all malware from your computer instead of spending your time trying to manually remove them.

Since there are so many scams out there, it can be hard to find an antispyware application that you can trust. However, you need protection from spyware, adware, and other threats. So, when you are in the market for antispyware, be sure to research the product and the company that sells it. If there is little or no information on a product’s company, then it is probably a scam. And when it comes to the antispyware, you should make sure that it is guaranteed to remove 100% of spyware. Without that guarantee, it won’t be able to properly protect your computer. 99% isn’t good enough. Your computer deserves to be taken care of, so be sure you do it right.
