Threat Nuker is Just Another Scam

It seems like everything these days runs on computers or is at least related to a computer somehow. Computers have become important parts of our lives. If you own a computer, you know how big of an investment it is. Because of this, you should protect your computer or programs like Threat Nuker may take advantage of you. If you protect your computer now, then it will save you a lot of trouble tomorrow.

Threat Nuker is one of many rogue security applications that have been released onto the Internet. It pretends to be a helpful program, but it actuality it is dangerous for your computer and a threat to your pocketbook. It will cause your computer to slow down, cause pop-ups, and slow down your Internet connection. It may reduce security settings in your browser and change your homepage as well.

The Threat Nuker website is very aggressive. Of course the site talks up the product, but when you go to the download page, the download automatically starts. This sort of promulgation is quite rude, but what is worse is the other means by which it tries to get onto computers. If certain Trojans are on your computer, then it will be downloaded without your knowledge or permission.

Once the trial version has been downloaded and installed on your computer, you will start to receive warning messages. They will say that your computer has been infected with malicious software. This won’t be too hard to believe because of the pop-up ads that it delivers help it to prove its point. The warning messages also advise that you allow this fake security application scan your computer.

The scan that is initiated is a complete sham. It doesn’t really scan your computer, but it sure does put on a good show. When the scam show is over, a list of threats is presented. This list is full of imaginary threats and is used to scare you into the next step of the scam. Threat Nuker claims that the threats that it discovered can’t be removed unless you spend $50 on the full version.

The full version is a complete waste of money. It is incapable of removing any actual threats that may exist and it certainly won’t defend your computer against future threats. For these reasons, it should be removed the very instant that it makes its presence known.

Manual removal is ill advised. While it is very possible, it is highly inefficient and it doesn’t ensure that your computer will be free of malware. Instead, you should find yourself a genuine, quality antispyware program to remove it for you. Just be sure that the company that makes it is reliable and that it is guaranteed to remove 100% of spyware. Without this guarantee, your computer won’t be properly protected. Your computer deserves to be taken care of, so take care of it with complete, reliable protection.
